Coronavirus: Chinatown Stories documents how the pandemic has economically impacted Chinatown mom and pop businesses in New York City. Food justice is built into the identity of this community which provides people of different ethnicities and socio economic backgrounds the ability to access nutritious, high quality produce and affordable food. If businesses continue to close due to the pandemic, it paves the way for gentrification and loss of this historic community and center for food equity.
